The Power of Testimony
Devotion for Monday, September 29
Revelation 12:11
“They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”
The power of your testimony is greater than the pressure you face. The enemy’s goal is not simply to silence your faith but to silence your voice. Yet Scripture declares that overcoming comes through the blood of Jesus and the boldness of our witness. The martyrs did not die because they believed privately. They endured because they spoke publicly and refused to bow to the demands of the world.
Every time you speak about what Jesus has done in your life, you are standing in that same overcoming spirit. Your story carries the fragrance of victory and points others to the faithfulness of God. What the enemy meant to use to defeat you becomes a testimony that strengthens others.
Reflection:
Where have you been tempted to remain silent about what God has done for you? Take time today to thank Him for one area where He has worked in your life, then look for a way to share that story with someone who needs hope.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the blood that gives victory and for the testimony that overcomes the enemy. Help me to treasure the story You are writing in my life. Give me boldness today to share what You have done, so that others may see Your power and find courage to follow You. Amen.
